Books of Wonder is New York’s oldest and largest independent children’s bookstore and has been the source for the finest in children's books — both new and old – since 1980. Dedicated to helping children develop a lifelong love of books and reading, Books of Wonder has titles for children of all ages – from infants through teens. From boards books to picture books, classics to the latest best-sellers, their staff of knowledgeable book lovers is eager to help you find just the right books for the children you love. Books of Wonder is famous for having inspired the bookstore owned by Meg Ryan in the movie “You’ve Got Mail” and for it’s whole bookcase devoted to the Oz books of L.
