Zero + Maria Cornejo

Zero + Maria Cornejo atelier and store was founded in New York’s Nolita neighborhood in 1998 by Chilean-born design Maria Cornejo.

Spare, modern, architectural, minimal, feminine, and unpretentious are all words that have been used to describe Maria Cornejo’s work for Zero which is now available at two directly operated stores in New York City and at over 60 of the best specialty and department stores around the world. High profile clients include Tilda Swinton, Cindy Sherman, and more recently, Michelle Obama.

In 2006, Maria Cornejo was honored as the recipient of a Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award.
